About Rachel Lowry
Rachel Lowry, (aka Marena Lane), is a northern California artist specializing in watercolor and acrylic paintings. Her abstracts have been shown at The Lifepuzzle Gallery in Grass Valley, CA. She sold her first painting when she was 17, and has done freelance illustration and design work. She moved to San Francisco after finishing an M.A. in Clinical Psychology. Since then she has written and published poetry, worked as an opera singer, music teacher, and stage director, and for many years served as Associate Artistic Director for Sonoma City Opera.
